ZAMZAM BAKERY AND CONFECTIONERY CELEBRATES SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF 2026 SIWES PROGRAM
Kaduna, May 5, 2026
Zamzam Bakery and Confectionery is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2026 Students Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES) program for female students from Kaduna Polytechnic.
The 12-week training program provided hands-on experience in modern baking techniques, confectionery production, food hygiene, quality control, packaging, and basic entrepreneurship to 41 students. The initiative was designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world industry practice while empowering young women with practical, marketable skills.
At the closing ceremony held at our bakery, the Management of Zamzam Bakery commended the students for their dedication, discipline, and passion throughout the program.
“Our goal was to create a safe, supportive, and professional environment where these young women could learn, innovate, and build confidence in their abilities,” said the Director of Zamzam Bakery and Confectionery Zamzam Musa. He added “we believe skills acquisition is the surest path to economic independence, and we are honored to play a part in shaping the next generation of female entrepreneurs.” During the program, students mastered the production of bread and snacks to commercial standards.
Zamzam Bakery and Confectionery remains committed to supporting youth development and women empowerment through practical baking training.
