Let me bless your day with this beautiful story

AS FAR AS YOUR EYES CAN SEE!!!

Two days ago, I had already closed for the day, even though Favoured Bakers Factory remains open until 8pm, as always.

Running a factory is quite different from running a shop or outlet. Production, packaging, sales and customer orders often happen simultaneously. Production takes time, and sometimes, work continues late into the night.

That day, I had closed for the day while some of my staff remained on duty. Then, a customer sent us a message, she doesn’t sound like it’s her first time because she located the factory without questions but it was my first time attending to her in person. For some reason, I responded almost immediately.

What happened next?

She paid for 30 bottles of Yogofura, one tub of unsweetened Greek yoghurt and a plate of cake slice. And because we value our customers, she also received 12 sachets of Milky Chinchin FREE ( remember free milky Chinchin on every 3Bottles).

Thirty bottles in a single order that night

That experience reminded me that you can never predict the magnitude of what is possible when you keep showing up, remain consistent and position your business for growth.

There is no limit to the quantity of products you can order from Favoured Bakers. Whether you need a few bottles for yourself, several bottles for your family, or a larger quantity for an event, business, celebration or special occasion, we are ready to serve you.

We are building our capacity to serve you better, one order at a time.

And to everyone reading this, may your business attract customers whose orders exceed your expectations. May the opportunities coming your way be greater than anything you have imagined.

As far as your eyes can see, you will possess!

We are Favoured Bakers Factory and we are ready to serve you.

NEGOTIATION WILL NOT KILL YOU! 😂🔥

Today, one customer taught me a business lesson without even knowing it!

We announced free delivery on orders worth N14,000 and above at Favoured Bakers and free milky Chinchin for every walk in customer.

A customer contacted me to order 6 bottles of Yogofura. She was ready to pay for delivery.

But instead of simply accepting her order, I told her: Ma, if you buy 7 bottles, you get free delivery.

Guess what? She chose 7 bottles with free delivery!😜

One extra bottle sold. More revenue for my business. And the customer saved on delivery. Everybody wins!

But here’s the interesting part: I am not naturally good at negotiating. 😂

I don’t even enjoy shopping where I have to bargain. Just tell me the price, let me pay, and let me go!

That’s how I have always approached my business, too.

Until I attended an online class by Augusta Nkanu, CEO of Melonypine Parfait, where she taught us about negotiation.

I realised that sometimes, we are so afraid of what people might think that we miss opportunities sitting right in front of us.

What if they think I am desperate to sell? What if they think I am being pushy?
But really, you cannot grow your business by being afraid to speak up!

Today, I put what I learned into practice, and look at the result!
Imagine I had kept quiet. I would have sold 6 bottles, collected the delivery fee, and moved on. Instead, I presented an offer that benefited both my customer and my business.

That’s the power of negotiation!

Business owners, learn to communicate your offers. Learn to show customers the value they can get. Don’t assume they’ll figure it out themselves.

And if you are like me, always worrying about what people will think, here’s your reminder:

A CLOSED MOUTH IS A CLOSED DESTINY! 🔥

Now, be honest with me: Are you a good negotiator, or are you also in the “DONT STRESS ANYONE ABEG” department? 😂😂
