My mum used to tell me I will understand some things better when I become a mother. She was right.
I've been into cakes and treats for the past 3-4 years. It's my passion. I work from home even while I was carrying my baby boy. On the 16th of March, 2020, I got a new passion, my son🥰.
Truth be told, it has not been easy trying to balance Motherhood and entrepreneurship. Like I earlier stated, I don't have a shop yet, and some other equipments needed for the efficiency and smooth running of my work, but I keep grinding.
I take care of my son at home too, so basically my home is my office. This is not easy as it sounds because my son is a full-time job on his own 😪😂
I exclusively breastfed my baby boy for 6 months because I want him to be healthy and smart but due to work, I had to wean him at 9 months. This was a hard decision to make but I want to be a good mother biologically and financially.
I have encountered quite a number of challenges in the course of mumpreneurship, and truly it's not easy but it isn't impossible either😁.
With God, my dear husband, my mom and my sibling that assists me in taking care of my son while I do my job, I'm able to execute my roles properly.
And shout out to all the Mumpreneurs out there. Keep grinding💪🏾
