I started my breakfast business at 19, and honestly, it didn’t begin perfectly.

My mum taught me how to make pancakes, but what we made then was crepes. I didn’t like that. I wanted something soft, something fluffy… something better. So I got curious. I started experimenting - adding baking powder, adjusting things, trying again and again until I got it right.

My family used to call me “Mrs Giwa” because I was always selling something. At some point, my space at home even started to look like a mini provision store. I just knew, deep down, that I wanted to do business.

When I got to university, I noticed a gap. No one was selling pancakes in my hostel, and only one person in the entire school was. That was all I needed. I told my friends, shared samples, and started selling.

That small decision changed everything.

From selling pancakes in school, I made my first ₦100k in profit. What started as curiosity and a simple idea became something real.

Fast forward to 2025, I’ve sold over 10,000 breakfast packs, pancakes, waffles, sausage bread rolls, sandwiches, banana bread and we’re still growing.

And the truth is, I’m just getting started.

This is my Ebenezer year. I am helped by God. By my God, I leap over walls.
