Three things a beginner must know when making chin chin:
1️⃣ Right dough texture matters
Your dough should be firm, not soft or sticky.
If it’s too soft → chin chin will soak oil and come out soggy.
If it’s too hard → it will be dry and tough.
👉 Aim for a smooth, rollable dough that doesn’t stick to your hands.
2️⃣ Oil temperature is key
Always fry on medium heat.
Hot oil = brown outside, raw inside.
Cold oil = oily, heavy chin chin.
👉 Test with one piece first: it should rise slowly and fry evenly.
3️⃣ Cut sizes must be even
Uneven cuts fry unevenly. Small ones burn, big ones stay raw.
