Yesterday, I witnessed something that reminded me why I love what I do. 🥹❤️

A sister reached out to us because she wanted to surprise her sister on her graduation day.

She ordered our box of chops and Surprise Box Treats, and we took the surprise to the graduation venue.

The moment we arrived and she realized what was happening… the happiness on her face! 😭❤️

Then I handed her the card from her sister.

She started reading it, and honestly… watching her reaction while reading that message almost made me emotional too. 🥹
At that moment, I realized something:Sometimes, it’s not really about the food. It’s about the thought behind it.

A simple surprise can lift someone’s spirit.
It can make someone feel remembered.
It can make an ordinary day unforgettable.
And sometimes, that little gesture is exactly what someone needs at that moment. ❤️

Later that night, the sister who contacted us sent me her sister’s review.

Guys… I was blown away

I know this is my job. I know I was paid to prepare and deliver the order.

But yesterday, I didn’t just feel like I was doing a job.

I felt blessed to be part of someone’s beautiful memory.

It reminded me that what we do can go beyond cakes, chops and treats.

Sometimes, we deliver emotions. We deliver love. We deliver memories. 🥹❤️

So please, don’t wait until someone’s birthday or wedding before you show them love.

Surprise your sister.
Surprise your brother.
Surprise your friend.
Surprise your parents.
Surprise someone you love. ❤️

You honestly never know how much that little gesture might mean to them.

And to the beautiful sister who trusted us to make this moment special for her sister—thank you for choosing us. ❤️

Yesterday afternoon, I delivered an order and, as usual, I posted the finished work on my WhatsApp status.

Not up to 10 minutes later, people started resharing it. And honestly, I appreciate that.

There is NOTHING wrong with resharing another person’s work. In fact, when you share my work, you might even be helping me reach a potential customer.

But then I saw something that made me pause. 😳

Someone reshared my work, removed my watermark, put her own business name on the picture, and was presenting the work to people as though SHE was the person who made it.
I immediately reached out to her and asked her to take it down.

Now, let me ask you
DID I DO WRONG BY ASKING HER TO REMOVE IT? 🤔
Because I honestly don’t understand this practice.
If you like someone’s work and you want to use it to attract customers, PLEASE share it. But why remove the person’s identity and replace it with yours?

There is a BIG difference between: “Look at this beautiful work I saw from ’s Confectionery.and Removing the original watermark, adding your own, and allowing people to believe you made it.

Please, let’s be honest with ourselves.
Don’t eat another person’s glory. 😔
You don’t know how much work, money, sleepless nights, practice, mistakes, disappointments and years of learning that person went through to get to the level you are admiring.

If you genuinely admire someone’s work, give them their flowers. 🌸

And if you are a business owner, ask yourself this:
If someone took your finished work, removed your name, put their own name on it and claimed it as theirs, how would you feel?
