Good morning Rooters.

We experimented. Tried.
Then,
I sat down and faced the numbers.
No guessing. No emotions. Just facts.
And the truth?
Running this as both a café and a bakery…
is stretching everything.
So I gave myself a deadline: June.
By then, we choose:
Stay a café + bakery…
or strip it down to just bakery.
Which means…
Some things you love here?
They might not survive that decision.
So before we cut anything—
We’re doing a CLOSE-DOWN SALE on selected items and equipment.
Clearing what might not make the new menu.
Testing what actually deserves to stay.

Be honest with me—

Coffee?

The quiet?
Because what you choose…
might decide what survives.

We’re looking for a dedicated Operations Manager (Age 30–40) to join our team here in Calabar.

If you’re someone who loves structure, enjoys leading people, and knows how to keep a space calm, clean, and guest-ready, then this might be the role for you.

We need someone who is:

✔️ Experienced in managing people and operations

✔️ Calm, organized, friendly but firm

✔️ A clear communicator

✔️ Willing to learn, teach and take ownership

✔️ Comfortable enforcing systems and standards

✔️ Ready to support daily café operations
