Here’s a simple recipe for Scottish Shortbread Biscuits:
Ingredients:

* 1/2 cup Butter (softened)
* 1/4 cup Icing/Confectioners Sugar
* 1/8 cup Cornflour/ Cornstarch
* 1 tsp Vanilla (optional)
* 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. Mix Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and icing sugar together until light and creamy.

3. Add Cornflour & Flour: Sift the cornflour and all-purpose flour together, then gradually fold them into the butter mixture. You can use your hands to bring the dough together once it starts to form. If you're using vanilla, add it at this stage.

4. Shape the Dough: Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/2 inch thick. Cut into your desired shapes, typically rounds or rectangles.

5. Bake: Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are just lightly golden.

6. Cool & Serve: Let the shortbread cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy your delicious, buttery Scottish shortbread biscuits!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup butter salted
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the flour and mix until the dough resembles breadcrumbs.
Use your hands to knead or press the mixture into a dough. Shape it into a 1-inch thick log, wrap in plastic wrap, and chill for 15 minutes.
Slice the dough into 1/4-inch thick discs and arrange them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

Ingredients:
227g (1 cup) salted butter, softened
64g (1/2 cup) powdered sugar
256g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
Method:
Preheat the oven to 130°C (265°F).
In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and powdered sugar together until pale and smooth.
Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the butter mixture, stirring well until the dough forms.
Roll the dough into small balls, then gently flatten each ball with a fork.
Place the flattened dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cookies turn golden brown around the edges.

Home made biscuits 🍪
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of butter
1/4 cup of sugar
1 cup of flour
1 tsp of salt
Procedure:
In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Sift the flour and salt into the mixture and stir gently until combined.
Roll the dough without kneading it, then wrap it and place it in the freezer for 1 hour.
Once chilled, cut the dough into biscuit shapes and use a fork to add your desired design.
Bake as per your instructions and enjoy ☺️

Homemade Sweet Treat Recipe
1️⃣ Add 2 tablespoons of sugar( depending on how much you like sugar ) and 1 teaspoon of salt to a pot.
2️⃣ Pour in a cup of water and place on medium heat and mix ensure the sugar is well dissolved.
3️⃣ Add a cup of butter and stir until it completely dissolves, then turn off the heat.
4️⃣ Gently 2cups of flour, then mix in 2 eggs and a splash of 2tsp vanilla flavor until smooth.
5️⃣ Transfer the mixture into a piping bag and pipe it onto parchment paper.
6️⃣ Fry until golden brown, then remove and let it cool slightly.
🥰 Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside absolutely delicious
