Saw the picture of this cake from over a year ago on my phone, i had totally forgotten that I did this job. a friend reached out to me that she wanted a cake for her boss and I had less than 2 hours to come up with something. Seeing her excitement and her boss’s happiness when I delivered blessed my heart.

I love what I do, been in the happy part of people’s day is such a blessing. The past 2 weeks has been a lot, from riders and cake couriers destroying expensive cakes, mixer spoiling out of no where, butter and cream cheese spoiling inside the fridge, having to throw out cake fillings due to bad electricity..

I’ve thought of giving up so many times this past week. should I go into the career path? But I make peoples salary in a week sometimes. Seeing this picture reminded me of why I do what I do, asides from baking been my passion, the joy’s that comes with it, the bright smile, the reviews, the “people loved your cake oo” the referrals! Tho it’s not Rosses all the time, but I receive strength to stay locked in, in times of the thorns..

This is a reminder for you no to give up, no matter what you are going through, no matter what life is throwing at you, do not give up! You’ve got this!! Let the happy days be your motivation, look forward to more happy days because they are coming 🤍🤍
