GULA MELAKA PECAN GOLDEN PILLOW BUTTER CAKE 🥥
Another flavour of butter cakes made using a combination of meringue and creaming methods — a technique that creates a beautifully light, airy crumb while still keeping the cake rich and buttery. The result is a soft, fluffy, and incredibly moist “pillow-like” texture that melts in every bite.
I added crunchy pecan nuts 🌰 for a lovely nutty contrast, and folded in coconut flakes 🥥 to enhance the flavour with a natural sweetness and that warm, aromatic coconut fragrance. Together with the deep caramel notes of gula melaka, every bite is layered with comforting, well-balanced flavours.
It may be a simple butter cake at heart, but the texture and flavour make it feel so much more special — soft, fragrant, slightly nutty, and absolutely delicious. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. ☕💛
