A little cheesecake with a whole lot of richness.
Made with smooth, creamy cream cheese and rich bittersweet chocolate for a deep, indulgent chocolate flavour without being overly sweet.
The base is a simple, wholesome coconut flake crust blended with mixed nut butter, adding a lovely toasted nuttiness and a delicate texture that complements the creamy cheesecake beautifully.

🍸CRANBERRY RUM PISTACHIO GOLDEN PILLOW BUTTER CAKE🍰

There’s something wonderfully comforting about a homemade butter cake, especially when it comes fresh from the oven with a golden, buttery, soft and tender crumb.
My 'Cranberry Rum Pistachio Golden Pillow Butter Cake' is a little more indulgent than the classic. Sweet-tart cranberries add a lovely burst of flavor, while pistachios bring a delicate nuttiness and a beautiful touch of green. A hint of rum ties everything together with its warm, aromatic richness.
I call it my “Golden Pillow” cake because of its wonderfully soft, plush texture — buttery, tender and almost melt-in-the-mouth.
It’s the kind of cake that feels special enough for celebrations but comforting enough to enjoy with a cup of tea or coffee on a quiet afternoon. Every slice brings together buttery richness, chewy cranberries, and that subtle warmth of rum.
Simple, homemade and irresistibly golden — this is a butter cake I’ll happily bake again and again.

GULA MELAKA PECAN GOLDEN PILLOW BUTTER CAKE 🥥

Another flavour of butter cakes made using a combination of meringue and creaming methods — a technique that creates a beautifully light, airy crumb while still keeping the cake rich and buttery. The result is a soft, fluffy, and incredibly moist “pillow-like” texture that melts in every bite.
I added crunchy pecan nuts 🌰 for a lovely nutty contrast, and folded in coconut flakes 🥥 to enhance the flavour with a natural sweetness and that warm, aromatic coconut fragrance. Together with the deep caramel notes of gula melaka, every bite is layered with comforting, well-balanced flavours.
It may be a simple butter cake at heart, but the texture and flavour make it feel so much more special — soft, fragrant, slightly nutty, and absolutely delicious. Perfect with a cup of tea or coffee. ☕💛
