My first attempt at shio pan was a bit uncertain, but it turned out surprisingly well.
After baking, the texture was the highlight. The bottom had a thin, crisp crust with a light buttery crunch and the sesame, while the inside stayed soft, airy, and slightly chewy.
Each bite had that nice contrast—crispy underneath, fluffy in the middle, and lightly rich from the melted butter, balanced with a touch of salt.
