JOW Creations was founded in September 2012 by Lim Jo Weng, a former investment banker and an Economics & Finance graduate from the University of Melbourne. The inspiration behind this start-up was a belief that every delicate dessert should evoke sensational emotions and taste buds. It should be luxurious, pleasurable, intriguing and inspiring; and evidently, there was a lack of such cupcake des
sert in the market. But what triggered him to act upon this inspiration is his passion for baking and cooking. Ultimately, these two attributes of passion and inspiration brought about the birth of Cupcakes by JOW Creations. Cupcakes by JOW Creations was the first brand child of JOW Creations. We began marketing our cupcakes via social media, website and word of mouth and in a few short months, our brand and story began to grab the attention of the public and media. Our customer base grew in an exponential manner and so did our company; bigger machines, brand new kitchen and more staffs. Our major clients now include café chains, gift-labs and corporations. And as for our products, well we expanded that too! In order to incorporate our new products (cakes & muffins) we have initiated a rebranding exercise in March 2014. Our new brand "JOW Bakes" will be taking the place of "Cupcakes by JOW Creations" going forward. JOW Bakes Mission :
