🔹Just mention the layer cake, many will associate it with Sarawak because the dish is very synonymous with Bumi Kenyalang which is a favorite of many regardless of the community.
🔹Maria, 43, who is of mixed Chinese and Bidayuh blood, said to maintain Sarawak's identity in the traditional food, the idea arose to produce a variation on moon cake which is usually based on red beans, lotus seed mixture and salted egg yolk.
🔹Apparently, the game made at the Moon Cake Festival last year bore fruit when many people liked the innovation of ‘Mooncake’ layer cake or moon layer cake made by their hands until it received encouraging response.
