Berjaya di siapkan tanpa pembaziran πŸ˜† my sister aprroved biskut ni sebab lebih rasa kacang, terasa kemazolannya juga lemak2 minyak sapi πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘Œ... personally me tak hengat either pernah makan biskut mazola ni ke tak selama 43 tahun hidup, so i really don't know what to expect ..then bila rasa "eh, kenapa rasa macam ala2 biskut makmur Sabah ni πŸ˜†" .. la ni sendiri confused - tapi sedap!! berbanding dengan biskut mazola my sister ordered keras & manis tanpa rasa lemak kekacang..die cakap mine lebih enak & lemak cukup rasa!!!

So next mission sendiri kena cari biskut mazola tu rasa apa sebenarnya - rasa tepung lebih dr kacang, atau rasa kacang sebenar tp mcm biskut, eh!

1st cookie raya untuk tahun ni πŸ˜†πŸ˜† and first time ni try buat Biskut Mazola sebab hari tu husband makan kakak bawak, so me Google lah as many as possible the recipes. Semua recipe hampir sama. So me sedut la mana yg patut kan πŸ˜… kalau jadi sedap... onz!!! another batch la..kalau tak jadi pon kene try sampai jadi la hahhahahaha

Sebab... simple recipe ni actually tricky ja kot.. sbb "alaaaa senang ja ni! haa sekali buat tak jadi.

Tiba-tiba di petang hari teringat ada pisang dah masak, so kena lah buat kek pisang untuk berbuka kan! 🫒🫒 ini kek pisang ikut rasa hati tapi tetaplah have to measure carefully the ingredients .. masak2 yes I can "agak-agak" ja, but not bila buat kek.. even mengikut ja rasa hati tetap kena timbang ya. Sebab tak sabar craving kan, potong la tengah2 suam tu! ☺️

BANANA LOAF SESUKATI RAMADAN β€οΈπŸ˜‰:

Ingredients:

170g eggs (about 3 large eggs, S-clean Nutriplus)
125g unsalted butter
40g vegetable oil
140g-150g sugar in total (caster & brown) - nak manis tambah lagi la abot 20g.
1 tbsp vanilla extract
160g superfine flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cinnamon powder
200g mashed bananas
30ml whole milk

Cara-cara:
1. Preheat oven at 160'C (fan assisted). Grease & line loaf pan (8"x3"x3") with parchment paper.
2. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.Add in eggs one at a time. Mix in oil & flavor with vanilla.
3. Sift and fold dry ingredients alternate with milk. Fold in the mashed banana and mix well to combine.
4. Spread the batter into a prepared cloaf pan. Bake for about 75-90 minutes or until skewer inserted comes out clean.
5. Cool the cake!

Hari ni punya rasa sedap!!!! caramel pon tak pahit macam semalam yg ada orang komen "awak ounya caramel bitter sangat!! tak sedap" πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ hari ni die makan sambil senyum2 cakap "sedap!! yg ni sedap!!" - walaupon mcm terlebih sikit ja baking time tu πŸ˜… Adalah penampakan "honeycombs" kat surface and dalam puding tu..tp tak overcooked sgt2 lah..sbb katanya kaalu overcooked puding ni mcm rubbery gitu ya.. yg ni masih melintuk liuk .. i tweak lagi recipe tu untuk lebih creamy dgn pnmbahan cream & pengurangan susu hehehhe .. ok dah boleh jadi hidangan keluarga la lepas ni hhahahaha tiba mcm rasa tak cukup pulak hahahahaha

🫣🫣🫣 Okay, it would be another attempt to have that perfect caramel, later... πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜† bitter sikit caramel sauce tu sebb terover cooked ya lah lama sgt dlm oven! But the custard itself is perfect & nice dr segi rasa.. perfect combo of milk & cream. The texture?? am not sure coz pudding is not my onions πŸ˜… dan baru je buat semalam (x jadi), hari ini (jadi la jugak!) .. Need to adjust the baking time.

The recipe i use -
Caramel Sauce:
(100g caster sugar + 30ml water= golden amber/deep amber) + 30ml water

Custard:
300ml milk (full cream) + 200ml cream + 80g caster sugar, 3 large eggs + 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp vanilla extract + 1/4 tsp sea salt.

Next will bake in the preheated oven (160'c fan assisted - coz i made this in 6"round cake tin).

Never thought that I would make creme caramel in my life πŸ˜‚ Normally kalau nak makan, I would just buy it πŸ˜‹ Even though orang kata it’s simple (especially the ingredients), but not for me lah! I’d rather bake cakes β€” more easier πŸ˜… That’s what I told my husband when he asked for this caramel pudding.

Tu lah kerjanya scroll makanan malam-malam, tiba-tiba teringin pulak dia. As a doting wife 🀭 tak sampai hati, so I tried my best to make one. End up, yang ni adalah percubaan ke-2!! 🫣

Yang pertama tak masak-masak… eh, angkat je la kan sebab rasa macam lama sangat. Rupanya tak jadi. So for this 2nd attempt, kita tweak sikit the ingredients and bake longer than the previous one. Tapi rasa macam lama jugak! πŸ˜…

Probably akan ada 3rd attempt kot hahahaha. Pudding caramel je Pipit oiii!! Awat tak jadi...

Maybe I need to increase the oven temperature from 150Β°C to 160Β°C so boleh la reduce masa kan… probably. We’ll see how this one turns out 😁

Dessert?
Masih lagi butter cake yg dibuat semalam. Ada yg tanya recipe kek kopi tu, tp belum boleh share sebab masih dlm R&D. Few things nak kena adjust to make it perfect as what i want it to be. The texture, YES nice crumbs and moist. The coffee flavor - need to add a little bit more of coffee, and discard & replace few ingredients. Yup! ini lah caranya bila buat kek 🫣
ada ja yang nak kena tweak here and there. Not an easy process bila tak dpt apa yg dimahukan πŸ˜…

Here is another version of coffee butter cake.. the color also very deep brown from tje previous version. This one we use espresso 57 Davidoff coffee powder (bnyak jugak 😁 untuk rasa kopi lebih), sour cream added - to give that kelembapan pada kek dan bau (ye, sourcream ni boleh bantu bagi bau kek wangi juga selain butter).
This one kita experiment using Westgold butter (unsalted - grassfed).
