Pressure?🤯 Eat now!😋

The word we often hear when someone is stressed is EAT. Many people like sweet food when stressed. Examples of sweet foods that people often eat when stressed are cookies, chocolate and cake. In English terms, the habit of eating during stress is 'stress eating' or 'eating emotions. This is a habit to make yourself feel comfortable after experiencing stress.

According to psychologist Susan Albers, eating habits and stress are related and quite different for each individual.
A group of people will lose their appetite when stressed, because their focus is on the problem at hand. While the other group will eat when feeling depressed because it can divert the feeling of depression they experience.
So, the easy way is to eat!

Stress will produce the hormone cortisol' to activate the system in the body "fight or flight". Usually, when things that stress our body decrease, it also decreases this hormone. But when there is stress, the cortisol content in the body will also be high and cause the appetite to become active.

Truthfully, when it comes to food craving, it is either when you crave something sweet such as cookies or chocolate or crave salty food like potato chips.

According to dietitian Anna Taylor, she stated that the human body is similar to a vehicle, in which you fill-up the tank and then drive. Strong physical desires might develop if the body does not receive the nutrition it requires.

The factors that contribute to cravings are:
1. You are starving yourself.
2. You have no idea how addicting sugar is.
