A new addition to our alcoholic cake menu - 𝑹𝒐𝒌𝒖 𝑮𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒂 🍵

Gin can taste bitter, so we infuse moderate amounts of Roku Gin in matcha sponge and strawberries to take advantage of that botanical fragrance

then balance it with the earthiness of matcha; and the natural sweetness of strawberries and its compote

Available in 6 and 8” whole cakes, or roll cake if ordered early. Full menu in our bio link ✨

We make cupcakes for parties too (tho this was the only batch we managed to take a picture of)

The flavour and design is customizable; but generally we offer less sweet, natural options perfect for kids’ parties or gatherings

So far we’ve mostly been doing butter or chiffon cupcakes, naturally flavoured with fruit compote or orange zest (no essence!), topped with chantilly or housemade buttercream, sometimes garnished with fresh fruit

Hope it’s easier for everyone to find us now that our signboard is up!

Kind of a big day so bear with me for two minutes while I get a lil sentimental🙈 - it’s such a coincidence that on the very first day I moved into this studio, I found a forgotten drawing book of this childhood dream that I painted with a strong longing, because I was ready to give up on it and thought it was never going to happen. Over the years, pastry has become something I always end up coming back to; maybe cause crafting sweet moments is something I truly enjoy doing 💕

2 years flew by pretty quickly as I experimented, failed, and improvised over and over again in my lil baking room at home. Words cant express how grateful I am for all the love and support y’all have given to your local home baker 🫶🫶

I hope that with more space and help, I can come up with more quality dessert options. Looking forward to bringing more sweet treats to your heartfelt celebrations and tired evenings ✨

It started just because I love banana cake myself and craved a really good slice without all the essence and oil

This one tastes like something your mum or friend would bake at home, with plenty of the good stuff, butter instead of oil, and an honest taste that brings comfort 🫶🫶

The undying popularity of classic fresh fruit cakes always reminds me that even though extravagant flavours and marketing is important, at the end of the day, we need to be doing the basics right

For me, this means honesty and quality: fresh fruits, dairy whipping cream, and essence-free chiffon scented lightly with pure orange zest.

Light, refreshing, and natural. It’s the kind of cake - and hopefully baker - you can keep going back for ✨

It’s out!!! (Literally me compiling this on the taxi on my trip - thank you to everyone who has been rushing your mass procrastinator home baker 😂)

Thrilled to introduce my Father’s Day specialty - 𝐂𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐞 & 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐲 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐝𝐨

A bittersweet frozen dessert that puts together everything Dad likes. The first bite opens with roasted coffee notes in a creamy, pate a bombe-based Italian semifreddo. The fragrance of Jameson whiskey and salted caramel hit next, while the nutty caramelized pecans add a satisfying crunch, and the almond chocolate sponge infused with whiskey finishes the job as a flavourful base

I used AI to polish the photo (lighting at night was horrible), but I’ve added the original shot as well for reference

Would be lying if I said all hell didnt almost break loose during the early prep mornings that social media often romanticises as quiet and peaceful, but tbh I really appreciate the opportunity to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to be more efficient while ensuring quality. And honestly, having so many of you come back with positive feedback these few days has really meant alot to me. Thank you so much for the support and kind words!

And of course, a huge shoutout to my own mum, who woke early to cut fruits and do washing for me on mother’s day itself 🥹

So bringing her out for hi-tea today!! Eating something that isnt my cake hahahaha
