Another big catch over the weekend on Tai Rubber. +/- 4kg grouper. Easily hooked up with the perfect set up of the Tailwalk Tai Game SSD C69/FSL combine with Studio Ocean Mark Blue Safari Z Japan.

I was using the Owner Cultiva JF- 42 size 12. A fellow angler asked “why such a small hook? Catch small fish?” My answer to him is “wait till you see my catch!” So I guess I did proof to him with this catch.

I first saw this reel at the Osaka Tackle Show 2024 in February. I had waited almost 9 months for it, unboxing it and it’s finally in my hands. This is what I called the ultimate bait casting reel the Z Japan Blue Safari. Pre setting drag and lever drag as well. Can’t wait to use it next weekend. Could be a perfect match with my Tailwalk Tai Rubber rods. Many thanks to Sabre Tackle.
