In the quiet streets off Jalan Imbi, where colonial-style bungalows dot the landscape, you will find Levain Boulangerie & Patisserie, a warm and lovely French-style bakery and café where you can savour soft, warm and superbly fresh breads and pastries while enjoying a cup of coffee. At Levain, breads and pastries are baked all day using natural yeast, in a traditional stone oven

Sometimes all you need is a good meal that feels like a little escape.

The Smoked Salmon Leek Cream Spaghetti is creamy, savoury, and the kind of slow, comforting plate you’d order on a long lunch somewhere in Europe. The Chicken Parmigiana brings that crispy, cheesy, cosy Italian café energy. And the Thai Soft Shell Crab Burger? Spicy, messy, vibrant, proper Bangkok street food vibes.

Every morning, we bake a wide variety of pastries in our stone oven, hoping they pair perfectly with your coffee. There’s no such thing as too many types of pastries, we do them all. Puff pastry, croissants, danishes, pies, choux, flaky delights… you name it, we have it.

Made with French butter and carefully layered dough, each croissant is patiently folded and baked to achieve that delicate, flaky exterior and soft, airy centre.

This 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐥𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢 started as one of those “let’s just make something comforting” kind of meals. The kind you cook on a slow day, when you want the kitchen to smell warm and familiar. We used simple ingredients we know you’ll love. Earthy mushrooms, gentle truffle, a sauce that hugs every strand of pasta just right, and a hint of sour chilli paste to keep our Malaysian identity. It’s very much who we are: a French-inspired bakery and cafe, finding our place right here in the middle of Kuala Lumpur.

It’s simple, cozy, and meant to be enjoyed slowly. Preferably with good company and an empty schedule.
