Do you know? Snowflake Crisps are a popular crunchy treat in Taiwan and China and it's called Xue Hua Shu 雪花酥 or Xue Q Bing 雪Q饼.

Snowflake Crisp is a non bake delicacy where crunchy and non-crunchy ingredients are compressed and fused together with melted butter and marshmellow before sprinkled with milky powder and lastly cut to cubes.

It is a nougat-like mixture of almonds, biscuits and dried cranberry with a surprising crunch factor from fresh roasted California almonds.

But what makes my Snowflake Crisp different with others?

I use a secret ingredient to substitute the milky powder to optimize the nutritious value and taste.

Butter wise, i choose Anchor brand butter with made from 100% pure New Zealand cow's milk for quality assurance.

The marshmellow and butter create a symphony of contrasting flavours and textures: chewy and crispy, milky and fragrant, sweet and salty, yet with a hint of tanginess for balance.
