Amused Cake Amused merupakan kedai kek tanpa icing yang menjual kek butter pelbagai perisa seperti coklat, pandan, strawberi dan oren.

Selain kek, kami juga menjual beberapa jenis biskut dan tart. Kedai kami terletak di tingkat 2, Wisma Rampai, Kuala Lumpur. Kek fondant dan icing diklasifikasikan sebagai kek custom. Sila ke laman web rasmi kami untuk membuat tempahan dan perbincangan lanjut.

From the silky caramel colour of the kaya, the smell of melting butter and the jiggly eggs; everything is just perfect with this one pack of telur goyang.

You can either choose to have 1 or 2 eggs; we call them single or double. InsyaAllah, whatever the choice may be, the quality should be similar, if not the same.

Many people ask online, where is best to go for a jog in the morning. Many would suggest Seremban Lake Garden.

But, what’s after a good jog?

Definitely a good breakfast. But where?

I would always say Menara MAINS.

Kedai Makan Cikgu Syeri specifically.

No words can tell you how much I’d like to thank all of you for making the last day of April this memorable. Can’t believe it; but I pinched myself - hey! That’s for real!

So, thank you to all of you who have been with us and making April so massive. I certainly love it and looking forward to having the same vibe and hype for the months to come. But before that,

as we’ve done cleaning last week, we can’t help but to drag our restocking process into May, but promise! Jwanji, just tomorrow and we shall resume as usual the next day, insyaAllah.

I always believe that repetition creates precision. And with precision, mistakes are minimised. That’s why, every step a staff takes in my shop is not their wild guess. Instead, it is all set and directed for them. SOP are written clearly in making sure precision is maintained. It is important for me to have it so as to ensure that our customers receive our food consistently the same every time they order.

Speaking about repetition and precision ni, sebenarnya tak semua orang mampu hadapinya. Yelah, repetition adalah kerja yang berulang. Hari-hari buat benda yang sama. Mundane and routine. Tapi, kalau kita memuja cara kerja orang di negara matahari terbit, kita akan fahami bahawa ketepatan kerja mereka terhasil daripada kerja yang dilakukan berulang-ulang kali. Kadangkala, kerja yang sama dilakukan oleh orang yang sama sepanjang hayat mereka. No rush, just pure grind.

Sebut pasal parchment papers ni, repetition and precision. Staff saya yang potongkan parchment papers tu buat bukan sikit-sikit ye. Segulung besar kita bagi dia. Ratusan helai dia buat untuk satu per satu jenis saiz loyang. Yup, dari loyang 6 inci ke 10 inci. Bulat ke petak. Lama jugak dia buat. Dari hari pertama kerja sampai nak hampir sebulan.

Lepas tu dia cakap kat saya, “kalau ini je kerja saya, saya nak berentilah.”

Jawapan saya ringkas.

“You nak saya biarkan you buat 1 kerja dalam 1 masa atau saya biarkan you buat semua benda, lepas tu setiap hari balik semua kerja you tak dapat siapkan?”

Maka, diapun bertahanlah potong parchment paper di ruang depan kedai kek saya di Wisma Rampai sampailah helaian yang terakhir. Terima kasih, D***H kerana bersabar dan percayakan saya…or maybe, you just trusted the process hence you won!😊👍

I still fondly remember the day I did 1200 cheese tarts with a sunken heart. This order in particular, certainly had recall the past but I’m glad it didn’t feel as heavy as it used to be.

In fact, these cheese tarts did give me some delight. Terima kasih, Seremban people for giving me this chance.
