Kuih Bahulu 鸡蛋糕 Ji Dan Gao | Simple Delicacy | 3 Ingredients only | Chinese New Year

Kuih Bahulu ( 鸡蛋糕 Ji Dan Gao ), a favourite pastry that Malaysian would make during the Chinese New Year or any other special occasions. With only 3 simple ingredients, you can make this aromatic and irresistible treats. Served best with warm/hot coffee to your liking.
Wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year.

Ingredients :
All purpose flour - 75g
Caster sugar - 60g
2 eggs ( +-50g/egg)

12 cavity baking pan
( This recipe make 12 cakes depending on the pan size)

Bake at 200°C/390°F for 12 minutes

Colourful Gingerbread House Cake | Special Mould for Festive Baking

Baking session is never the same when the young ones play their part in the process especially in this period where festive mood is in the air.
This Gingerbread House Cake filled with colourful icing and candies; truly will seal the bond with the loved ones.
This is a happy and wonderful time of the year indeed. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Ingredients:
Cake flour - 250g
Cocoa Powder - 35g
Baking powder - 4g
Ground ginger - 4g
Mixed spice - 2g
Salt - 2g

Unsalted butter - 250g
Caster sugar - 200g
Brown sugar - 130g

4 eggs ( +-50g/egg)
Vanilla essence - 5g
Milk - 300g

For the decoration:
Non dairy whipping cream - 150g ( whipped)
some colourful candies and sprinkles

Nordic Ware Gingerbread House Bundt Pan or
22 to 24cm / 9 cup Bundt pan

Bake at 160°C/320°F for 60-65 minutes

This bite-size cookie cream puff is the perfect choice to create the fun-creepy and somewhat-spooky decorations for this celebration. Let's join in the fun making them today! Happy Halloween !

Choux Au Craquelin (shoo-o-krat-ker-lan)
Ingredients :
For the Craquelin (cookie dough):
Unsalted butter (soften) - 30g
All purpose flour - 35g
Brown sugar - 15g
Cocoa powder - 3g

For the Choux Pastry (puff pastry):
Milk - 60g
Unsalted butter - 20g
Caster sugar - 3g
Salt - 1g
All purpose flour - 30g
Cocoa powder - 3g
1 egg (+-55g/egg)

For the Cream:
Milk - 20g
Dark chocolate coins - 35g
Non dairy whipping cream - 100g

For the decoration:
Edible sprinkle eyeballs

Set of 12 pcs Cookie Cream Puffs ( Choux Au Craquelin)

Bake at 200°C/390°F for 10 minutes
then, bake at 180°C/350°F for 15 minutes
after that, turn off the oven and let them stay in the oven for 30 minutes

Rum - 50g

12 cavity canelé mould

Bake at 230°C/440°F for 15 minutes,
then, bake at 190°C/375°F for 40 minutes to one hour
