Asalnya saya bake 1 whole carrot cake, tapi entah macam mana kek melekat dekat pan even dh apply thin layer of butter and flour on bottom of pan.

Hmm maka dapatlah separuh kek yang sempat diselamatkan secara fizikal. Tapi dont worry, yang separuh lagi still boleh makan.

This is walnut carrot cake with lemon cream cheese frosting 😋😋😋. Resepi saya dah share sebelum ni.

Burnt Chocolate Cheesecake

Ingredients: (7inch)

1. 250g cream cheese
2. 55g castor sugar
3. 2 eggs grade AA (or 3 eggs grade C)
4. 100ml dairy whipping cream
5. 125g melted dark chocolate
6. 5g cocoa powder
7. 5g corn flour

Method:

1. For pan, line it with baking paper and grease with butter. Preheat oven at 220°C
2. Melt dark chocolate using double boil/microwave. Put it aside.
3. Beat cream cheese and castor sugar until it’s creamy and smooth. Add egg one at a time. Continue beating.
4. Add whipping cream and melted chocolate gradually. Beat until combined.
5. Turn off the mixer. Fold in cocoa powder and corn flour until batter is very smooth and homogenous.
6. Pour batter in prepared 7inch round pan. Bake it for about 30minutes. For another 2-3minutes, use only upper heat to get burnt effect.
7. Leave the cake cooled and store it in the chiller overnight before ready to serve.

Tips:
1. Double the ingredients if using larger cake pans eg 8inch.
2. A lot of scrapping down the side of bowls needed throughout the mixing to ensure no lumps.
3. How to know the cheesecake is cooked after baking? It should be jiggly in the centre but it’s dry to touch on the surface.
