Before I even knew what it meant to fly, you were already teaching me how to.
You were the one who made sure my first takeoff didn’t end in fear, who stayed steady through every turbulence I didn’t know how to handle, and who quietly adjusted the course when I was about to drift off track. You didn’t just protect me, but also trained me to rise.
Even now, I still hear your voice in the background when life gets heavy: stay calm, fix your direction, keep going. That kind of strength doesn’t fade. It becomes part of how I move.
You’re not just my dad. You’re my first pilot, my invisible safety system, my superhero in the sky who never needed a cape to save me.
Happy Father’s Day to the one who taught me how to fly without fear. ✈️🦸♂️
