We are delighted to share that 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲’𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 has been recognised under the 𝗚𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗺𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, presented on 21 August 2026.
This recognition is especially meaningful to us because Swee Bee has always believed that a pineapple tart can be more than something delicious.
𝗜𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲, 𝗮 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁.
From our home in 𝗞𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴, 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗿, we have spent years preserving the familiar taste of the Malaysian pineapple tart while finding new ways to share its heritage, craftsmanship, and story with Malaysians and visitors from around the world.
To see 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲’𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻 recognised as one of Selangor’s iconic tourism products under Gastronomy Tourism is therefore a very special milestone for us.
It reminds us that heritage does not only live in museums, old buildings, or history books.
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱.
And sometimes, it can be found in something as humble as a pineapple tart. 🍍
This recognition belongs to the entire 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 — our team who puts their heart into what we make, our customers who have supported us through the years, our partners who believed in a Malaysian homegrown brand, and everyone who has shared Swee Bee with family, friends, and visitors from near and far.
