Farewell, Susumadu Mount Austin —
Thank You for Remembering Us
Susumadu Mount Austin has officially closed its doors.
Though the shop is no longer here,
your continued support and kind messages have truly touched us.
Some of you still reached out to place orders or even visited the shop —
we’re so sorry to have made you come all the way for nothing,
but at the same time, we’re deeply grateful.
Thank you for walking this journey with us,
whether you were with us from the start or just dropped by once —
every encounter meant something to us.
As Mother’s Day approaches,
we’re reminded of the warmth we felt in the shop —
the smell of fresh bread,
the heartfelt chats across the counter,
and the joy of creating something special to share with you.
Even though Susumadu has come to an end,
our love for baking continues.
We hope to return one day — perhaps in a new form, in a new space —
to bring you more of the flavors you’ve loved.
