When I was in Osaka, many shops sold Hojicha ice cream. To my surprise, Hojicha seems to be a rare commodity in Tokyo. This was one of the few places that had it, along with varying intensities of matcha ice cream and black sesame. I had the most intense matcha and the Hojicha. It was pretty good but I would prefer the soft serve version that is widely available around Osaka. Oh well, beggars can’t be choosers. @ Suzukien

When I was in Osaka, many shops sold Hojicha ice cream. To my surprise, Hojicha seems to be a rare commodity in Tokyo.
