Surely Sourdough has now embarked on ‘baking for own consumption’ ☺️ and this is a super late post about my most recent bake - Parmesan Cheddar Cheese Sourdough..

I’ve not been baking since Christmas last year and thankfully my starter still remained strong and I just adopted 50% hydration to kick start my starter and the below bake is baked using the ‘cold bake’ method (shared by some SD bakers to me) - from cold re**rd to cold oven to bake for 50mins with a closed lid 😁 very happy with my results!

Sourdough starter still ‘active’ after 2 weeks of not baking, it tripled & more overnight…this is 100% hydration starter. I’m pleased with how the starter is behaving 😄

It’s been a while since I last baked and posted as I was recuperating from a knee procedure for almost 3 months now….not fully recovered yet though but missing sourdough bread so much that I tried to bake one loaf of Whole Wheat Country Sourdough for myself 😅
