My first taste of Bubur Sum Sum was when I was on a business trip to Jakarta during the Ramadan season. It was served at the hotel breakfast buffet line. I was hooked after that and has been trying out my own recipe since then. The balance of salty sweetness, fortified by the aromatic pandanus fragrance makes this a perfect dessert!
