Woohooo! Time flies and it's almost Christmas!

We've been receiving enquiries recently as to what our Christmas Specials will be. We are so sorry to disappoint you but Crumb N Crust will be taking a baking break for the month of December.

Nope, we're not going away on vacation but rather we'll be sprucing up and expanding our kitchens to
increase our capacity and offer you more goodies next year.

We're kinda sad that we won't be part of your Christmas celebrations this year, but we'll be back and when we do, we'll have a very special product launch!

Celebrating the incredible fathers (including mine) who make this world (my home, too) a better place....

If I had to choose a bread to signify my Dad, I guess it would be Crumb N Crust plain sourdough loaf.

Strong-willed, forthright, bold, courageous, simple, unique, misunderstood sometimes, often-taken-for-granted, absolutely can't-do-without.... Just needs a drizzle of EVOO and a light toast on the grill to make it perfect! (handling refers to our bread, not my Dad) 😄

Oh well, Happy Father's Day to my Dad and to all the Dads stopping by this post.

Nutty, aromatic, crunchy, substantial. That's our Pecan Sesame Sourdough.

For people who love their raisins, we throw in a handful of plump ones. For those who are not fans, no raisins for you then.

Did you know that the jalapeno is a fruit of the Capsicum pod type measuring 2-3.5 inches long (sometimes up to 6 inches) and originates from Mexico? It is, however, grown worldwide now.

For our breads, we chose to use the pickled variety. We like the tanginess of the jalapeno from the vinegar brine and the overall piquant zestiness of the pickled fruit. Reminds us of the pickled green chillies we eat with our wantan noodles.

If you haven't tried our jalapeno bread, we would like to caution you that it's addictive. Coupled with cheddar jack cheese, the bread is deliciously flavourful and with the signature chewiness of sourdough.

We'd also like to reiterate that all our breads are made to order and we don't keep any on our shelves or freezers.

So if you'd like to subject yourself to jalapeno sourdough addiction, whatsapp us now. (sometimes, we do have a waitlist. ) 😉

Anyone for La Quiche this weekend?

Take your pick...

1) Wildly Mushroom comes loaded with portabello, white buttons and sh*take (RM50)

2) Roast Chicken, broccoli and cherry toms (RM50)

3) Simply Vegie with baby spinach, cherry toms and white buttons (RM48)

Our quiches are 9-inch diameter and we use macao eggs so none of that eggy smell with the silky creamy custard.

Keeps super well in the fridge. Some of us like it warm, some like it straight from the fridge and some just leave it out for a mo and wolf it down at room temp! The power is in your hands.... or mouth!
