My name is Monica Merrill. I am from San Miguel, where my family has lived for multiple generations. I am both bilingual and bicultural.
Throughout the years, I have helped friends, family members, and new acquaintances with both healthcare assistance, as well as end-of-life care, and I have seen the need for personalized care for seniors, specifically expats who have settled here in San Miguel.
Open Arms Care was created for both elderly singles and couples who live in our town.
Our purpose is to provide help and care to seniors and others who need assistance. This help may be personal care after a surgery, continuous check-ins, helping with translation with doctors/lawyers/specialists during appointments, or even setting up end-of-life care.
