BREAKING: Kaitlan Collins Presses Stephen Miller on Air Force One Decoy, He Refuses to Answer
Kaitlan Collins put Stephen Miller on the spot outside the White House, and he responded by saying absolutely nothing.
Collins confronted Trump's deputy chief of staff directly, asking, "Did you know you were on the plane that the president was not on?" Miller refused to respond, walking past her and every other reporter's questions without a word. Collins later laid it all out for viewers in a studio segment, detailing exactly who else had been kept in the dark during the operation.
According to her reporting, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, aide Natalie Harp, deputy chief of staff Dan Scavino, and staffer Walt Nauta were the only ones who actually flew with Trump on the real plane. Everyone else, including Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, and Miller himself, was left on the decoy jet without knowing the president wasn't with them.
Trump brushed off the mounting questions, saying he was simply following Secret Service instructions for his own safety. Rubio didn't offer much more when pressed directly on camera, smiling awkwardly and walking away after a quick "thank you, guys" instead of answering.
It's a small moment, but a telling one. When actual reporters ask actual questions, silence is the best answer this administration seems able to give.
