I have 9 - 1 kilo bags of bread flour available. 100 pesos each. One kilo of flour will make six small loaves of bread or 24 buns, with extra left over to dust the pans. I will gladly share my recipe that works at high altitude. Very easy to make.
Pick up in Mirasol on Monday only.

Hi everyone, Just a head's up I will NOT be baking this weekend and will not be at the Monday market. I have a health issue that has ground me to a halt. Next week I will be away, and hope to be back at the market on December 6.

Thanks everyone for stopping by the Monday Market. It was a great first day. The bread and chocolate cookies sold out in a flash and there were only a few scones and oatmeal raisin and walnut cookies left.

About the bread...
It is soft, chewy, and you can cut it without it falling apart. It is delicious untoasted as a sandwich and toasted as well. Because it is home made, it contains no preservatives, so it is best eaten within two days. Keep it stored in the fridge in a plastic bag.

Found this web site with over 200 gluten free options available for shipping Lakeside. I haven't had a chance to try it out, but the prices are reasonable and there is free shipping over 300MXN.

I just wanted to share a high altitude bread recipe I found online. My only suggestion to change it would be to add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds to act as a binder. Let me know if you make it and how it goes!

Here is another bread option. Pan de queso is very popular in South America. I have spoken with a friend who hails from Brazil. She says it is ok...not great, but in this day and age this seems like a good home made option. BTW these are eat as soon as you bake, so take the leftover batter, make balls, and freeze until your next bread craving strikes.

I have asked a local gluten free vendor if she would be willing to make some and we will be chatting about necessary safe ingredients and I am going to give her a couple of high altitude gf bread recipes. Do you have a favourite? Please share with us.

If you know of a locally sourced bread that is 100% gluten free and made in a gluten free kitchen, can you post below.
