This is a full-time, on-site Accounts Clerk role based in Quartier Militaire. This role will support both Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions. The successful candidate will work alongside existing team members and provide coverage when required, while helping improve overall efficiency within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
โข Follow up on outstanding balances and collections
โข Record incoming payments and reconcile accounts
โข Maintain accurate customer records
Accounts Payable (AP)
โข Process supplier invoices and ensure proper documentation
โข Prepare and follow up on payments
โข Reconcile supplier statements
โข Maintain accurate records of payables
General Responsibilities
โข Maintain proper filing and documentation
โข Support month-end closing activities
โข Provide backup support within the accounts team as needed
โข Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required
Profile
โข Good understanding of accounting principles
โข Strong attention to detail and accuracy
โข Good organizational skills
โข Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
โข Ability to work independently and as part of a team
โข Fast learner with a positive attitude and willingness to improve
Nice to Have (Plus)
โข University or Higher Education in Accounting, Finance, or related field
โข Prior experience in a similar role & familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Odoo)

Key Responsibilities
โขโ โ Visit assigned outlets regularly to ensure MBake products are properly displayed and stocked.
โขโ โ Monitor product availability, stock levels, expiry dates and freshness.
โขโ โ Ensure products are presented according to MBakeโs merchandising standards.
โขโ โ Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarkets, retailers and other customers.
โขโ โ Take and follow up on orders from clients and outlets.
โขโ โ Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities to increase sales.
โขโ โ Ensure promotional activities and displays are properly implemented.
โขโ โ Gather customer and outlet feedback and report market observations.
โขโ โ Prepare regular sales and merchandising reports.
โขโ โ Coordinate with the internal team to ensure smooth order fulfilment and product availability.
Requirements
โขโ โ Previous experience in sales, merchandising, FMCG or a similar role is an advantage.
โขโ โ Good communication and interpersonal skills.
โขโ โ Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
โขโ โ Proactive, organised and able to work independently.
โขโ โ Knowledge of the local retail market is an advantage.
โขโ โ Ability to travel between different outlets.
โขโ โ A valid driving licence is an advantage.
