Sensation of the season! 🍵🎋
(Tekstas lietuviškai – komentaruose)

Briefly about this collab:
Those who like matcha fall in love with it even more.
Those who don’t, start to like matcha through this extremely soft dessert, revealing the new fusion of tastes 🪄

The “San Sebastián” cheesecake, also known as Burnt Basque cheesecake, was created in 1990 by Basque chef Santiago Rivera at the bar La Viña in Spain. Aiming for a softer, creamier texture than the American version, he removed the crust and baked it at a high temperature to achieve its signature burnt top and golden edges, while keeping the center silky and custard-like. This simple yet elegant dessert gained worldwide fame after 2010, and in 2021 The New York Times named it the “Flavor of the Year.

What makes it special?
🥄 Super creamy texture – melts in your mouth.
🔥 Deeply caramelised – full of aroma and character.
🍰 No crust – just pure cheesecake pleasure.

It’s not about perfection – it’s about taste that surprises you with every bite.

And now, this world-famous delight has finally made its way to Vilnius 🇱🇹

Our sincerest admiration~

The “San Sebastián” cheesecake (also known as Basque cheesecake) was created in 1990 by Basque chef Santiago Rivera for the bar La Viña in the Spanish city of San Sebastián. Wanting to create a softer and creamier dessert than the American cheesecake, Rivera removed the crust, and used a high baking temperature to achieve its signature “burnt” top and golden edge, while the inside stays irresistibly creamy and almost custard-like.
The fame of this simple, rustic yet unbelievably elegant dessert spread worldwide after 2010, and in 2021 The New York Times named it the “Flavor of the Year”.

What makes it special?
🥄 Super creamy texture – melts in your mouth.
🔥 Deeply caramelised – full of aroma and character.
🍰 No crust – just pure cheesecake pleasure.

It’s not about perfection – it’s about taste that surprises you with every bite.

And now, this world-famous delight has finally made its way to Vilnius❣️

Note:
While it was born in San Sebastián, Istanbul became one of the cities that made it truly global. Today, many visitors actually discover it first in Istanbul rather than Spain.
Us either 😉
So some of the photos were made exactly from there in “Viyana” cafe by Galata tower ☕️
