A very special cake for a very special milestone.

She is a renowned jewellery artist in Sri Lanka, admired for her creativity, artistry and beautiful work. I remember, as a little girl, being so excited to have my jewellery done by her whenever I was a flower girl at a wedding.

Today, I’m truly honoured to have created her milestone birthday cake and bring her vision to life exactly as she imagined it.

From a mood board... to the wedding table. ✨
It all started with a simple vision. soft sage tones, touches of gold, and one very specific request... LILLIES.
There was just one little challenge... the exact white /cream tones weren't in season.
So the hunt began. We searched, made countless calls, and refused to settle until we found the exact blooms our bride had envisioned. Because when a bride has her heart set on something for her wedding day, every little detail matters.
To make it even more special, the couple had personally selected the flavour for each tier, making this cake truly unique to them. Every brushstroke was handcrafted, every flower was carefully placed, and every detail was created with love.
Seeing it take its place at Shannon & Ben's beautiful wedding in Bentota, surrounded by the stunning setup by Wedding Planner Sri Lanka | Colombo & Destination Weddings made every bit of the journey worthwhile.
