One of my most favourite wedding cakes I have done.. ❤️

The bottom tier was a lemon blueberry cake with a blueberry compote filling. The top tier was a lemon cake with a lemon curd filling. Covered and decorated using Italian Meringue Buttercream. It's safe to say that it's as interesting on the inside as it looks on the outside.

Hello everyone!

I have been MIA for a super long time. And although I did take up a very few orders I didn't feel like posting them. I am not a full time baker and its very difficult to do a business and manage everything else in my life. Also the price hike in ingredients wasn't helpful either. As a baker who wouldn't compromise the quality of my products I thought I should take a small break and here I am back again.

That being said so here's a cake that I did last year 😅. Yes last year. Feels like yesterday though coz this year went by super fast and its October already..

When it comes to themes like this where you have to work with fondant, I always tell my customers that its better to have buttercream on the cake than having fondant, coz honestly in my opinion fondant is not very tasty. So I always suggest them to have fondant toppers on a buttercream cake.
