While doing my job I began wanting something new and fun to create so I went on to attend cake decorating school and naturally became passionate about baking. Then I started baking for birthdays, weddings and other events of my family and friends. I have completed Wilton Method of Cake Decorating course (Decorating basics, Gum paste & Fondant, Flower and cake design) and Masters in the PME Professional Diploma (Royal icing & Piping module, Sugar-paste module & Sugar flower module). I also have received few awards and certificates for some of my creations at cake exhibitions. The “Baker-Veen” was created out of a need for creativity and a lifelong love of baking.
