Another of my signature date & nut cake that left my bakery this evening.

I baked this cake late last night/early this morning and rushed home after work and covered & frosted the cake with my signature almond buttercream. I used a purple/ombré buttercream to pipe the borders.

I have lost count of the number of date and nut cakes my friend has ordered over the years. I know she loves it and I am glad that my cakes have been consistent in quality & taste.

Thank you for the recommendations too - two of my client’s friends ordered this cake last month.
