Yes, it's hot, but hey, it's mango season! So come by our shop for some incredibly flavourful refreshments:

- Mango and Coconut Tart ($3 / slice, or order the whole pie and wow your guests or hosts)
- Mango Jam Tartines ($1.50, or, for $5, take the whole jar home and enjoy it every morning with one of our sourdough loaves)
- Mango Soda ($2.50, made with home-made syrup, which you can also take home for 5 dollars)
- Mango Chutney ($4 / jar, ideal with fried or grilled vegetable or meat dishes)

All products are hand-made here at our shop, using organic local mangos of the kaew chen variety, the perfume of which is just unbeatable. No preservatives or any other additives. No shortcuts. Only pure natural goodness.

Many thanks to our friends and fans who joined us last weekend at the Coconut Park for EuroFeast Cambodia, which turned out to be a great success, with excellent music and a perfect atmosphere.

This week at our shop:

- Quiche lorraine, served with a side salad ($3)
- Ratatouille, served with sourdough bread ($6, vegetarian)
- Spicy pork ribs with greens, served with steamed rice or sourdough bread ($6)

This morning, Eggplant Bear went to the market and got some beautiful cauliflowers. Back to his kitchen, he gave them a quick stir-fry so they get a bit brown, while staying nice and crispy. Meanwhile, he gave his signature flaky AF puff pastry a few turns. And there you have it: Cauliflower and Parmesan Pie. Come by and give it a try!

Eggplant Bear wishes all his friends and fans a happy and yummy Khmer New Year! After a short break, we are back to business as usual, and we also have a small surprise for you.

While playing water games near Wat Phnom earlier this week, Eggplant Bear caught a glimpse of the one and only Grandma Penh, the patron saint of our beloved city. She had just landed from one of her Europe trips, right in time for the holidays. As she came closer, she briefly whispered her latest recipe into Eggplant Bear's ear, while passing him some mangos from her garden.

It was an opportunity not to be missed. And although there was something tongue-in-the-cheek, and even a slight Italian accent in the elderly lady's voice, Eggplant Bear definitely had to try the recipe. So here you have it: Grandma Penh's mango cake, a perfect holiday treat based on European techniques, but packed with tropical flavour. Come by and have a slice while it's still warm!

- Eggplant and parmesan quiche (vegetarian, $3)
- Flaky and juicy sausage rolls with home-made sauces ($4)
- Fish tagine, served with couscous ($6)
- Beef tongue, slowly cooked in a savoury tomato and olive sauce, and served with parsley potatoes ($6)
- Coconut ice cream, a perfect refreshment for this very hot holiday season ($4)

Come by and enjoy our goodies! Eggplant Bear will be closing his kitchen for Khmer New Year, so today is also the last day you can come grab some supplies for next week, like our signature sourdough bread, our smoked cheeses and cold cuts, our sausages, spreads, dips and jams. After the holidays, we'll reopen as usual on Friday, April 17.
