About two years ago we made our debut ... It has been an amazing journey of cos with it's up and down but for the far we've come Glory to God. That's all I can say.

We thank God for this recognition and how far we have come. But mostly for how far we are going

Cake Citizens

One of the beauties of being Cake Festival is that it offers an opportunity to interact and learn from your peers. Cake Citizen raised a concern that we had ‘sandwiched’ his cake house between industry gurus at the festival, apparently he needed note worry!

The cake below was designed by Felix Mududa, of Cake Citizen and won in the Chocolate Cake category. Cake Citizen was also crowned the Emerging Category overall winners. The competition was judged by well known professionals in gastronomic arts, either in Kenya and/or abroad.
The judging panel was led by Shailender Singh, the Director – Food and Beverage Operations for Sarova Hotels. Shailender, a Chef by profession has extensive experience and received The Chefs Delight Lifetime Achievement Awards in 2013. The other judges were Avraj Singh Marwa, Sunil Sharma, Chaminda Perera of Sarova Hotel, Edward Marani of Hilton Hotel and Alyasin Mirza of Alyas Restaurant.
