Matthew 4:19,
“Come follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.”
He called them out from fishing which was their daily business as a means of bread winning into the unknown. These people had families which were waiting for them to bring home food in the evening. Surprisingly they just abandoned the business to follow him without any objection.
They were not the first to face this kind of situation, Abraham deed. God ordered him out of his land into the land he doesn’t know where. He just obeyed with no objection. In the old age without a son God gave him a miracle baby only to demand him for sacrifice. The man would just follow whatever God said without any question.
These disciples just did what their fore father did. It still happens today, he commands people out of their commitment into his vineyard. Many object because they are not from Abraham's loins. This make them rejects in the army.
Following behind him gives him ample time to train you into a soldier in his kingdom. It requires high level obedience.
