My first attempt at petit fours: gluten-free sponge cake layered with lemon cream filling and strawberry compote - all made from scratch.

I know it would be a lot of work making four seperste components and putting them together but it was trickier than I thought getting them sqaure and getting them fully covered with royal icing (as you see, I failed at that) 🫣 However, I learned a lot and am ready to try again... perhaps with white chocolate ganache covering next time 🤔
