Each stamp in the Celebrating Summer in Jersey issue illustrated by Lauren Radley highlight different locations and activities enjoyed during the hotter season, including surfing!

St Ouen’s Bay, on the west of the island, provides unique sand banks which means the waves are great for learners to enjoy when attending surfing school, but also produce more challenging, larger swells for the more experienced surfers taking part in international competitions.

For World Humanitarian Day we wanted to highlight the amazing work Rotary Club of Jersey.

In 2024, Jersey's Rotary Club celebrated their 100th anniversary! https://jerseystamps.com/blogs/news/rotary-club-of-jersey-centenary

Throughout the year’s the club has supported and participated in various humanitarian projects, including the global polio eradication initiative, as well as local projects such as the Good Companion’s Club that helps combat loneliness and isolation within senior members of the community.

'Tales of Saint Helier' includes eight beautiful illustrations designed by Becca Thorne a UK artist who specialises in linocut prints inspired by the wildlife and flora of the British Isles.

Tales of Saint Helier shares the most common story in Jersey’s Patron Saint and features key moments of his life, including his miraculous birth, his journey to the island and how he inspired those around him, becoming a martyr and leaving a lasting legacy.
