Tata for now folks! Todayβs bake will be my last at the lovely . Thanks so much to my customers for your enthusiasm for bread, and even bigger thanks to my incredible family for the unwavering support π€ Itβs been an incredible 15 months and Iβve learnt OODLES of stuff. But this summer Iβve really felt how much my body and mind needs that weekend time. The day job is quite enough for me at the moment it seems π
Iβm leaving on a high, as I know Chris is up there somewhere, and heβs flabbergasted that Iβve now baked several thousand loaves of sourdough bread, that people were actually willing to pay for π When I begrudgingly allowed him to teach me the sourdough basics in our kitchen back in autumn 2018, I donβt think either of us imagined what it would lead to. I wonβt stop , but it will only be for my nearest and dearest for now.
I leave you in the supremely capable hands of pawel I can say now UNEQUIVOCALLY that he bakes the very best sourdough on the island. Iβm excited to follow his journey π
