🏖️ The owner of a popular beach cafe says ongoing problems with litter, vandalism and damaged picnic benches are becoming “unmanageable”.

The Hungry Whale at Long Beach has appealed for people to take greater care of the area, saying staff are regularly left clearing rubbish and retrieving furniture moved across the beach.

We’re looking for someone experienced to join our dinner team at Veranda.

Thursday, Friday & Saturday
4pm–11pm

£17 per hour, or based on experience and agreement.

Set weekly hours — ideal for someone looking for regular afternoon/evening shifts, or extra hours alongside another job.

Hospitality experience is essential. You should be confident with basic table service etiquette, comfortable speaking about and serving wine, and enjoy looking after guests properly.

We’re looking for someone reliable, friendly and professional who is comfortable working in a busy dinner service.

Quick morning snap before the day gets going. Bishal in the kitchen. Tabitha on the floor.

The best part? - everyone is about each other’s craft. The front of house can’t help but stop and watch pizzas being shaped. The kitchen always finds time to admire a beautiful espresso shot—or a well-poured pint.
