This Sunday, we’re finishing a little early. At 3pm we’ll close the doors and take our team out for good food, questionable karaoke and an evening where, for once, someone else looks after them.

Summer in hospitality means being here while everyone else is surfing, travelling, having family BBQs and making the most of the long days.

So this one is for our team. A small thank you for a very big season. 🤍

The seasons do most of the menu planning for us.



The tomatoes have had their moment, so our marinated salad is moving into autumn with butternut squash, crispy sage and pumpkin seeds.

And because saying goodbye to the beach is hard enough, we’ve brought a little Hungry Whale comfort to the village — a proper smash burger in a soft potato bun.

A couple of changes. A little more autumn. Still made here, as always.
