Say YES to FLOWER Eating!
Free our inner floweravore (one who eats flowers) to nibble on all the blooming beauty flowing in the landscape right now.
Flowers to eat at this moment (in my reach [Northeastern US]): rose, Monarda fistulosa (wild bergamot), Monarda didyma (bee balm), comfrey, red clover, pansy, calendula, nasturtium, arugula, dayflower, purslane, lemon balm, mallow, ox eye daisy, and day lily.
What flowers have you been eating lately? Do tell, as well as the region you picked the flowers from. Maybe even share your edible flower photo…..
