Sea buckthorn moment.

Conoscete questo frutto? È l'olivello spinoso, in inglese sea buckthorn. Ha un sapore agrumato molto astringente, a tratti quasi piccante. Pare che il congelamento aiuti ad attenuarne i tratti e a renderlo più piacevole. Ha un altissimo contenuto di vitamina C.

Domani ha inizio la mia sesta settimana di stage. Il tempo sta volando e un po' di stanchezza per le lunghe e frenetiche ore di lavoro inizia a farsi sentire. Anche il mio compleanno è passato e questa è la foto della mini torta che ho ricevuto a sorpresa. Questi mesi si stanno rivelando totalizzanti ma carichi di ricchezza. E non parlo solo di preziose informazioni in grado di accrescere il mio bagaglio professionale, parlo soprattutto dell'aspetto umano... che conta di più, fa la differenza e sta rendendo questa esperienza ancora più unica.

Avete presente i noccioli delle prugne? Provate a romperli gentilmente e ad aprirli... quello che vedete in foto è il loro contenuto. Vi sorprenderà il piacevolissimo odore di mandorla che emanano, sono meravigliosi!
