villa solandra positano

villa solandra positano Positano bites deep. It is a dream place that isn’t quite real when you are there and becomes beckoningly real after you have gone.

There’s a perfect kind of spring day when the breeze is soft, the garden glows with filtered sunlight, and time seems to pause.
In this quiet corner of the villa, a white sofa invites you to sit back, surrounded by cushions inspired by antique tiles, reimagined through the ancient batik technique. It’s the season for long reads, gentle tea rituals, or simply gazing out into the view, wrapped in silence and birdsong.

Above, a Murano glass chandelier scatters light like drops of water. In front of you, a glass table crafted by Neapolitan artisan Biagio D’Angelo brings refined transparency to the space—his signature style, sculpting furniture from pure glass.
A sculpture by Michele Iodice rests on the upper surface, while on the lower shelf, two cheerful Bordallo Pinheiro jugs add a whimsical touch.

On the walls, a painting by Positano-born artist Michele Theile brings bold colour and memory.
And beneath it all, the compass rose of the villa—designed by architect Manuel Pasca and crafted by Vietri artisans using the pennellato tile technique—grounds the room in southern soul.

This is not a staged space—it’s a lived one. Every detail reflects a story: of Mediterranean roots, Italian warmth, and a home filled with meaning.

“It is spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart.”
– Rainer Maria Rilke

Soft Sunday in Positano.
The sea is calm, the air smells of lemons and light, and the house feels full of quiet care.
Some places don’t just welcome you — they embrace you.

“Home is not a place… it’s a feeling.”
— Cecelia Ahern
