My biggest project....
5kg chocolate cake for sangeet party.
This has a story. Before this i got 2 order for such big cakes from my client one was for engagement and other for birthday party. The engagement cake was my first big order. In the process of creaming cake somehow it broke and was in the position unable to deliver. I told client and she was very supportive. They managed end moment from somewhere else. She even called and said don't worry. The second birthday cake. So this time for our first wedding cake we were extra precautious. We put dowels, let cake rest for 2 hours in fridge to set, stick the cakes with ganache. The client was busy in her sangeet so she sent her driver we told him to be extra cautious. We ourselves put two way tapes and flim wrap around the cake to make it secure and hygienic. The cake was delivered and driver called in 20 minutes saying there was a hump and cake collapsed. It breaks our heart when we put our everything into a cake. You see cake for minutes but it took is days to build it. The preparation, materials, planning. But it was her day, she customised this cake we and we feel equally sad.
