As we stay shut until Aug, here is a snippet of what Maybae's+ Friends looked like.

Huge shoutout to .raizen and for helping me through such a big endeavour. Where they helped me bring to fruition an event that requires a team with no actual team in sight.

And most of all, thank YOU for coming and supporting you local friendly neighborhood bakery. I hope you enjoyed the experience as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.

One last custom celebration cake before we take a break until August, 2026.

Layers of chocolate sponge & banana with chocolate straciattela sponge. The fillings alternate - caramelized bananas, miso caramel, chocolate croccante and a salted caramel pudding with cacao nibs and walnuts
A thin smear of ganache and a thicc smear of salted browned butter buttercream.

There's a lot happening, and she stands a tall 3.6kgs.
I guess it's pick your own adventure in a slice kind of vibe, and totally here for it.

Olive & Cheese scone 2.0

We worked a little more on these bbs - more olives, feta and cheddar with a much softer centre and a wonkier exterior.

What exactly is the difference between a scone and a biscuit is far too confusing. What's not confusing on the other hand is how cheesy and lovely this babe is to eat. From our savoury menu of this season.

Pair it with an egg for breakfast, or some soup for a meal. Maybe toast it a little longer for a crisp edge to munch on as the rains seem to set in.
