Got gladiator-themed farfalle as a gift — black and blue, the color of a healing bruise. Saturday morning, body tired from the week, mind still buzzing. Felt like the perfect ingredient.

So I made a bake. Creamy chicken and white sauce, roasted brussels sprouts, mushrooms, a little cheese to hold it all together.

Not every bake has to be sweet. Sometimes it just has to be honest.

This spiced orange cake was for an Amma whose family is abroad and wanted her to feel all the love from miles away.

Assorted lilies was the brief and they put together the most beautiful bunch. The oranges, yellows and reds lined up perfectly with the cake, like we planned it together!

If you live anywhere else but Trivandrum, and want to tell someone you love them we're happy to be the bridge. A cake, some blooms, delivered with love.
